University of St. Thomas, in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota; and,
She received her Bachelors of Arts in Journalism from the University of
Nebraska-Lincoln.

Giving Back
Sayre has been a life-long volunteer. She is currently a member of the International Coaching Federation and the Minnesota Coaches Association and the Greater Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce.

She has been a long-time member of the International Association of Business Communicators, holding several leadership positions including the Treasurer, President-Elect, President of the Minnesota; and the Volunteer Chair and cofounder of IABC LA Angels project for the Los Angeles Chapter, and member of the Planning Task Force for the IABC 2004 International Conference.

She has also held leadership positions with the Minnesota Independent School Forum, the Minnesota Health Strategy and Communications Network, the Minnesota Council of Health Care Marketing and Public Relations.

She has been a frequent speaker and presenter at local and regional forums on topics such as change and renewal, leveraging change, communicating with influence, jump-starting your creativity, career burnout, public affairs crises, and employee communications.

Sayre finds balance in her life by reading, entertaining, playing in her garden, swimming and horse back riding. And she also pursues creative endeavors in the arts.
